Delivery Driver – Linen Laundry Services
We have an opening in our company for a Delivery Driver for deliveries of linen around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula. Commencing as a casual role with around 30 hours per week with a view to lead into a full-time position. The primary role in this position is to offer great customer service to our customers in a timely manner throughout our serviced zones.
This position will include the following responsibilities:
- Timely delivery of linen in bags and trolleys to designated locations at customers’ and laundry sites
- Manage trolleys of linen in the laundry factory to allow for efficient operations with your colleagues
- Able work well with team members including sharing roles with other delivery drivers to get the job done safely and responsibly
- Involves driving any vehicles designated to you by your superior
To be successful at this role, you will need to fulfil the following criteria:
- Holds at least an MR driving license or better and must be willing to drive a van or truck
- Friendly, and work well in a team environment
- Punctual and able to work long hours when required
- Is physically fit and able to work with heavy loads
Our usual delivery days are Monday – Friday with some weekend deliveries in our busy period (Christmas through to Easter).
